Dworkin has always been highly process driven, customer focused and the company ethos still is ‘take every opportunity to do better and deliver more’, so it was a foregone conclusion that we would work to gain ISO 9001:2015 certification. Data security standards compliance was also a given considering we number amongst our clients, companies such as Mastercard and Biogen. The arrival of GDPR just added another layer. Since then we naturally not only adhere to the expected standards but are extra focused on boosting our employees’ knowledge and awareness. Afterall our clients rely on it. Our Chief Data Protection Officer, Vince Elliot, is always available to answer any queries about data protection.

Dworkin ISO 9001 2015

  • ISO 9001 is an international set of standards to which Dworkin, along with many other organisations, adheres to ensure quality service and goods delivery to its customers
  • ISO 9001 help us organise our processes, improve their quality and continually improve on all fronts
  • ISO 9001 is based on the plan-do-check-act methodology and provides a process-oriented approach to documenting and reviewing the structure, responsibilities, and procedures required to achieve effective quality management at Dworkin
  • In 2018 Dworkin successful attained the latest ISO 9001 2015 certification.
  • We capture all important outcomes and influence to the processes into Quality Control Manual, which drives the high company standards
  • We are audited annually by an external body. As part of that we are asked each time to review a specific but different element of our ISO documentation and processes. This keeps everything fresh and up-to-date and keeps us focused and our Standards Officer, Mick Williamson on his toes.

Dworkin, it’s not just about ticking boxes though (we’re not that nerdy); it’s about taking care of our customers, their business and their data and giving them the best possible service; not just today but every day.

Dworkin GDPR

The General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individual citizens of the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA). It also addresses the transfer of personal data outside the EU and EEA areas. The GDPR aims primarily to give control to individuals over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU.

Dworkin implemented the necessary processes and checks to meet the provisions and requirements related to the processing of personal data of individuals inside the EEA.

A DPO was appointed to put in place appropriate technical and organisational measures to implement the data protection principles. AND to ensure that those measures were constantly reviewed in line with the latest legislation and where necessary new measures introduced.

A comprehensive induction and training programme was put in place to ensure that all Dworkin staff are aware of their obligations and the steps necessary to ensure that all data remained secure and that staff and customers were properly protected.

There is hardly more challenging security environment than in financial business

To work more than 20 years in financial sector and to have one stable IT security supplier for more than half of it it's really unique experience, I can say. I think it has to be endless curiosity together with strong sense for responsibility in the DNA of Dworkin. So they are able to develop solutions where there is no possible "best practices". And I like to challenge them again and again :)
